Katie has the experience and expertise to help you with your next 5k or ultra-marathon. She has competed as a runner since the age of 12 and ran cross country at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She has run several marathons and half marathons and her PRs include a 2:59 marathon and 1:22 half marathon. She won the Run Rabbit Run 50 mile trail race in Steamboat in 2017 and competed in the Boston Marathon that same year. 

Katie has a degree in kinesiology with a thorough understanding of human movement and physiology. She has successfully trained athletes at both the beginner and advanced level and is currently the middle school coach at Liberty Common Middle School in Fort Collins.

Strength and Conditioning

Katie can assist you in your training and fitness goals by offering guidance and suggestions for workouts that you can do on your own at home or in the gym. Persistent Hunters’ fitness program is structured around group classes, complemented by a personalized plan tailored to the unique goals and fitness level of each athlete. In the first week, you will work with Coach Matt to define your goals and outline a plan to achieve them.

For one monthly fee of $170, clients receive the following benefits:

One-on-one nutritional coaching from Registered Dietitian Katie Kissane of NoCo Nutrition, including:

  • 2 coaching sessions per month

  • Personalized meal plan

  • A secure platform for tracking food and activity

  • Between- session support and accountability

Personalized strength and conditioning training provided by Matt Benti of Persistent Hunters, including:

  • Unlimited classes

  • Fitness assessment and goal-setting session

  • Personalized training plan, updated monthly
